I placed my cat on here just this morning and have received several calls and emails about her. I am positive that she is going to a great home, where she will be loved and well cared for. The people that use this site to rescue are certainly very caring people. They have been compassionate in asking about my family, and if they are okay with letting her go out for adoption. Thank you, Rescue Me!

I wanted to write a note to tell you how much Rescue Me has made a terrible situation at least tolerable. My brother, who owns the two Birman cats, is suffering from PTSP, and has to visit the VA hospital once or twice a week. He is physically unable to tend to them himself. We heard of Rescue Me through a local adoption center. From the minute we entered the information on the cats, we started receiving calls and emails from very concerned cat owners. We found a wonderful lady who came to visit Andy and Zelina. It was love at first sight for her and both cats. My brother knows both animals will be loved as much now as before. Thanks to Rescue Me, this story has a happy ending. We are most grateful.

Carlos was offered for adoption because he was not good with the other cats in the home. He was in the next town to us. He is eight years old, but we are seniors, so it is a perfect match. Our previous Birmans lived to be 17 and 20 years old! He has been with us for about a month and has adapted very well and he gets along with our dog. We're very pleased - he's a beautiful boy. Thank you, Rescue Me.

I posted a Birman on Rescue Me and within a few days I received a call from a wonderful person who lives two and a half hours from me. We talked and I sent her a photo of Riley. She loved him immediately. In addition, she adopted a tuxedo kitty, Riley's brother. She is very happy and the kitties are very happy. I forgot to take the post down and received additional calls. Even though Riley had been adopted, I was able to place two kittens, Himalayan mix, with a wonderful family. This website is such a blessing to save the lives of beautiful, loving animals in need of a forever home.

I placed my post on Rescue Me!, and immediately began receiving emails from interested people. Within two weeks, I adopted my cat to an excited and loving home. I am sure he will be very happy in his new home.

Thank you for helping me find a loving new home for my two Birman cats, Gryffin and Granger! I received a number of requests for more information about them from all over the country. Fortunately they were adopted together by a wonderful family here in Nebraska and I'm receiving updates as they settle into their new home. As hard as it was to let them go, I know they are loved and well cared for. I will highly recommend this site to others in need of re-homing a pet and to those looking to add a pet to their family!
